Father Brawn Sullivan
Father Brawn Sullivan is the author of two previous books, SEVEN SUMMERS FROM THE SHORE and, with his mother, Sara, THE ROSARY AND THE GOSPELS. A youth minister before he became a priest, Father Sullivan has taught and guided the young since 1992. He has given many retreats, days of reflection and parish missions, in California and around the country. He studied at the Dominican School at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, earning his MA in philosophy, and at St. Patrick's Seminary in Menlo Park, where he received his M. Div. and also an MA in Theology. Currently associate pastor at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Brentwood, California, Fr. Sullivan was ordained for the Diocese of Oakland in 2006.

Sara Sullivan (1928-2010)
Sara Sullivan co-directed RCIA at St. Joseph Parish in Marysville, CA for more than a decade. She developed and taught the parish's Saturday Scripture Seminar, and with her son, Father Sullivan, gave many days of reflection on Scriptural themes in parishes in the Sacramento and Oakland Dioceses. A professor of English at Yuba College in Marysville for more than forty years, Mrs. Sullivan developed and taught a course on the Bible as literature which was consistently one of the most popular offered by the department. In the last year of her life, Mrs. Sullivan completed work on two books which she co-wrote with Fr. Sullivan - the first of which is THE ROSARY AND THE GOSPELS.
